India is building the world's largest expressway. Construction of this 1380 km expressway started in 2019 and will be completed by March 2023. At present it takes about 24.5 hours to travel between Delhi and Mumbai but once this road is completed it will take only 12 hours to travel from Delhi to Mumbai. At present this expressway is being constructed with 6 lanes but there is enough space around it so that it is possible to add four more lanes.
